Demographics - The population is currently estimated by statistics Canada to be 32.623 million people. Canada is an ethnically diverse nation. The largest ethnic group is "Canadian" (39.4%), followed by English (20.2%), French (15.8%), Scottish, Irish, German, Italian, Chinese, Ukrainian and First Nations.

Canada is well known as an attractive Ski destination for winter travel. World class ski resorts in British Columbia receive plenty of snow and offer breath taking scenery in places like Whistler and Sun Peaks. Resort properties in Sun Peaks and Whistler offer great vacation getaways and excellent investment opportunities. Whistler is the location of the upcoming 2010 Winter Olympics.
